Puppet Pals, Anti-bullying Puppet shows

Queensbridge Digital Leaders had a lot of fun this week learning to use Puppet Pals.  The purpose of the activity was to learn how to use the app in order to be able to support  Year 1 children in class next week.   The children created anti-bullying plays, importing photos they had taken using the iPads and recording sound using the app.

Today we have been using HAIKU DECKto write out a presentation to send to another school in Argentina.

Education City!

Today we learnt how to use Education City so we can help our class when they use it!

Using GarageBand

Georgia and Josie are making their own songs with GarageBand.

We put our finished songs onto YouTube so our classmates could listen. Maybe you could have a go making your own songs? 

Espresso Coding

We tried out espresso coding in our session today! 

We were experimenting with simple code and using language and symbols which the program understood! 

New Digital Leaders!

Our new Digital Leaders began their work today - learning all about internet safety and being responsible online!

They used the website www.thinkuknow.co.uk and learnt about a range of topics - you can try this at home! 

Connecting with Skype!

 

 

 

We had our first school Skype experience today!  

 

We used Skype to chat with our partner school De Beauvoir and to ask their digital leaders what they have been doing this week!
